New Jyothi Central School Senior Secondary, was started in 2005 with the intention of providing quality education to mould good future citizens. The school is managed by New Jyothi Cultural and Educational Society . The school is located in the serene and green landscape of Udiyankulangara, 25 kms from Thiruvananthapuram and 1 km from Udiyankulangara. The school is affiliated to C.B.S.E. (Affn No. 931067). Sreekrishna College of Pharmacy & Research Center, Parassala and Sri Sankara Central School, Poozhikunnu are the sister concerns of our school.

Dear students,
“Education is to empower and enlighten the qualities within us”, observed Swami Vivekananda. Education is meant for the total development of one’s personality to SUCCEED in life.
Success is not by choice, it must be sought after. All are born equal, everybody have their own talent but a few succeed, Why?
To emerge as victorious in the midst of aggressive materialism and spiritual vacuum, one has to be rational, assertive and proactive. Time changes like anything. The developed countries are in dire need of highly competent personalities and they prefer Indian professionals because of their theoretical base, creativity, consistency and strong value system. They have been welcoming our smart industrial youngsters who are well versed with English. Proficiency in English is inevitable for success nowadays.
Our Earth has everything for all needs. But she does not have enough to satisfy the greediness of men. If I can indicate an example, jobs are there but for the competent only. In the job scenario, competence means the totality of integrity, leadership qualities, emotional intelligence, soft skills, team spirit etc
At this age of liberalization, privatisation and globalization, jobs are plenty. But are we smart enough to transcend mediocrity?

He is a pragmatist and man of action. He is a renowned educationalist and a real mentor for the students and colleagues. He leads chairs the New Jyothi Cultural and Educational Society and Sree Sankara National Institute of Educational Trust and. He is also the chairman of renowned educational institutions in Trivandrum district like Sree Krishna College of Pharmacy and Research Center and Sri Sankara Central School. He is a man of simplicity and supports students from the underprivileged sections of the society. He secured his B.P.E(Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram), P.G.D.S.M. (Alagappa University, Karaikudi), M.P.Ed (Alagappa University, Karaikudi), M.Phil (Alagappa University, Karaikudi), Ph.D (KeralaUniversity, Thiruvananthapuram).
He has more than 30 years of teaching experience and has worked as an academician in many reputed govt. educational institutions (both general & higher education) across Kerala. He was a member of PSC Police selection board from 1997- 2014. He was a subject expert in PSC college faculty selection committee. He attended 3 International seminars, 5 National seminars, 6 international and national workshops and organized more than 6 international and national seminars. He was also a Program Officer of NSS and C-level certificate holder in NCC. He is a black belt holder in martial arts. He had participated in inter university athletic meet and Kerala amateur swimming championship. He whole heartedly welcomes suggestions and encourages the faculties, sub-ordinates and students to achieve new horizons in the field of education. He takes every experience as challenges and his achievements as services to Humanity.
